A prominent Hong Kong businessman and philanthropist, Ira Dan Kaye was a man whose many accomplishments belied his humble beginnings in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to his success at the helm of Lark International, Mr Kaye was a tireless worker on behalf of orphans in Macau and underprivileged children in Hong Kong. His passing was marked by as many tributes for his community efforts as it was for acknowledgements of his professional achievements.
